Banquet Hall latest idea for the Guild Inn.

The latest idea for the Guild Inn comes from Dynamic Hospitality & Entertainment Group who is in talks with the city to create a 20,000 - 24,000 square foot banquet hall.

The proposal from Dynamic Hospitality & Entertainment Group includes banquet space and a new restaurant inside the restored Bickford Residence and Guild Inn. The plan is for the buildings and areas immediately surrounding the building to be leased out to Dynamic Hospitality & Entertainment Group, the park area along with the parking lots and theatre area will remain under the City's Parks, Forestry and Recreation department. The event space will also be available to the public under permits the same way as community centres.

For the parkland around the inn, the city will be working with residents to restore the other various pieces of architecture along with the Sculpture Garden. Arts and crafts programing will be presented in the other buildings on site.

Hopefully we have a plan that is positive and agreeable to all parties involved.
