On Sunday December 6th the tree in front of the Guild Inn was lit for the Christmas season in the Second Anual Christmas Tree Lighting presented by Friends of the Guild Park and Gardens. The evening began

around 7pm and included lots of Caroling, an appearance from Rosa Clark who read "'Twas the Night

Before Christmas" and Santa even showed up to greet the kids and hear thier Christmas wishes. The high point in the night was when the tree in front of the Inn was lit. All in all it was a very successful night, there were even more people there then the organizers had expected. There were so many more people that they ran out of cups for the hot chocolate and apple cider. Luckily I brought my own mug! Thank you to the members of Friends of the Guild Park and Gardens for putting this event together once again this year!
