"Everyone is invited to a special public reception on Saturday March 7 to announce the series of Guild Park events in 2015. The reception takes place at Cedar Ridge Creative Centre, 225 Confederation Rd., Scarborough, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Our goal for 2015 is to welcome more than 10,000 visitors to Guild Park for the second year in a row. Friends of Guild Park is among the organizations bringing more attention and attractions to Guild Park. This year’s series of community and cultural events are set to build on the successes achieved by volunteers at the 88-acre public landmark. Come to the part on Saturdsy March 7. Join the fun and hear about the wide-ranging events set for Guild Park in 2015. Enjoy a licensed reception with lots of appetizers, guest speakers, live music and a silent auction. Admission is $25 ($20 for current members of Friends of Guild Park). Proceeds will pay for park fees and costs of holding community events at Guild Park.
