ROAD CLOSURE: Poplar Road

Poplar Road will be closed from this Friday August 28th at 7:00am to Saturday August 29th at 6:00am from Cultura Square/Gardentree Street to Portia Street due to construction.

Details from the City of Toronto Construction notice, "The City of Toronto will be undertaking sidewalk construction along Poplar Road. This project is part of the Transportation Services Capital Works Program.... The one day work includes construction of a new side walk across the rail lines on the west side of Poplar Road between Cultura Square and Portia Street. During construction Poplar Road will be temporarily closed for vehicular traffic.... This closure is mandated by the Rail Authority to ensure the safety of the construction workers and the public"
