Guildwood Refugee Action Committee, known as GRACE, is a community-based, non-denominational group of concerned and compassionate friends and neighbours who have come together to sponsor a Syrian refugee family. At this point we don’t know how many people we will be welcoming to our community but we know that the residents of this area want to help.
We are in the early planning stages, and to help that planning we are asking residents of Ward 43 and the riding of Scarborough Guildwood, to let us know if they have accommodation that they would be willing to offer on either a short-term basis or a long-term basis. If you have a nanny suite, an available apartment or house, or even a room to offer, please let us know and we will keep your information on file.
