Transit Addition in Scarborough/Guildwood

There are a few different Public Transit updates and additions that have been released this week that affect the Scarborough/Guildwood Area. Mainly the proposed Crosstown East LRT but also some changes to the Guildwood GO station coming up as well.

Crosstown East.

Along with a one stop Bloor Danfourth extension to Scarborough Town Centre, the City of Toronto's new transit plan for Scarborough includes a LRT line that has been dubbed the Crosstown East. It will run East from Kennedy TTC Station to Eglinton and Kingston and run East on Kingston to Morningside and then North on Morningside to UTSC. This proposed line would have 3 stops that serve the Guildwood Comunity at Kingston Road/Guildwood Parkway, Guildwood GO Station and Kingston Road and Galloway Road.
