After two years of sharing community stories, The Guildwoodian has decided that their current logo and brand no longer reflects our mission or our community. We are currently in the process of designing a brand that reflects the community and a brand that the residents of Guildwood can unite behind.

After a month of working behind the scenes and asking ourselves what it means to be a Guildwood resident we came up with this logo.

The tree made out of splattered paint was inspired by a phrase used by Jane Fairburn “Where Art Meets Nature” and the branches show how we connect the community to the news and events that matter to them. For the Font we wanted to go with something that is modern with a classic look. We went with a font that we felt conveyed the message of trust but also was modern enough to fit a 21st century news outlet.

This is not yet the final product and we welcome your comments and critiques during the development of our new brand to make it uniquely Guildwoodian. You can send us an email at guildwoodian@gmail.com, Tweet to @TheGuildwoodian or leave us a message on our Facebook page.
