Tomorrow is an exciting day for kids in Guildwood, it is a celebration that is right up there with Christmas and Easter, it's Halloween! For some kids though this fun celebration can be difficult to navigate. FARE estimates that 1 in 13 kids in the US have a severe food allergy, it can be difficult for these kids and their parents to navigate Trick or Treating.

To aid with this in the US, FARE (Food Allergy Research and Education) began the Teal Pumpkin Project 3 years ago with the aim of making Halloween safer for kids with severe food allergies. To participate all you need to do is have non-food treats available to give out and then place a teal coloured Pumpkin on your step with your normal Pumpkin or visit FARE's site to download posters.

By participating you can help all kids have a safe and happy Halloween
